Therapeutic laser
- May include systems with different power levels and wavelengths.
- Modes and parameters depend on the technology.
- The name alone does not explain how energy is delivered.
Advanced technology for pain management
Controlled, configurable energy based on the treatment area and objective. A non-invasive therapy that may be incorporated into a comprehensive strategy for selected patients.

Not all lasers are the same
Physical therapy, rehabilitation, and pain medicine use different systems. Power, wavelength, emission mode, and application parameters change how energy is delivered.

Revalgia technology
Higher power does not simply mean the treatment is “stronger,” nor that it is appropriate for everyone. It allows energy to be delivered differently and parameters to be selected according to the treatment.

HILT · Class 4 laser
Our equipment
A Class 4 therapeutic laser system designed to deliver controlled, configurable energy according to the treatment area and objective.
Therapy is non-invasive, with no needles or incisions. Its inclusion in a treatment plan depends on the diagnosis, indication, and each patient's circumstances.
Technical identification: we use BTL High Intensity Laser equipment. The brand is referenced solely to identify the available system. Revalgia is an independent unit and does not represent or maintain a commercial affiliation with BTL.
How it works
The system delivers energy through an applicator moved over the skin. The energy used may produce photobiomodulatory and thermal effects that have been studied as a complement for pain management and different musculoskeletal conditions.
Dose, power, and application method are selected according to the area treated and the corresponding protocol.
Potential applications
High-intensity laser therapy may be considered as a complement for certain painful and musculoskeletal conditions. Not every type of pain responds the same way, and not everyone is a candidate.
If a diagnosis has not yet been established, we recommend starting with a medical assessment.
Find out if I may be a candidateClinical information
Beyond its common applications in pain and musculoskeletal conditions, therapeutic laser has been investigated as an adjunct in other clinical settings. Evidence levels and protocols vary by condition.
Photobiomodulation has been studied as an adjunct in some cases of Bell's palsy. A confirmed diagnosis and medical indication are required.
It has been investigated as an adjunct for certain painful conditions involving peripheral nerves. The cause of pain must be established before considering treatment.
Some studies have evaluated therapeutic laser to modulate pain and support function in certain temporomandibular joint disorders.
It has also been investigated to modulate pain and inflammation after certain injuries or procedures, with authorization from the treating professional.
These applications require assessment, diagnosis, and clinical selection. They do not replace the corresponding medical, pharmacological, or rehabilitation treatment.
During the application
Duration varies depending on the region, surface area, and selected parameters. Each session follows the chosen protocol.
We confirm the treatment area, the indication received, and the absence of relevant contraindications.
We use the safety measures required for a Class 4 laser system.
The applicator is moved over the skin according to the selected dose, power, and modality.
After the session, you continue following the instructions from your treating physician or physical therapist.

Ask about current package pricing and monthly promotions. The number of applications is determined according to the indication and corresponding protocol.
If you already have a diagnosis, indication, or established treatment plan, you may come to Revalgia exclusively to receive high-intensity laser therapy applications.
Revalgia operates as a technology application unit. Our service does not replace the care of your pain physician, medical specialist, rehabilitation physician, or physical therapist, nor does it change the follow-up provided by the professional managing your case.
If you are currently receiving physical therapy or rehabilitation and continue to experience persistent pain, we can review whether HILT may be incorporated as a complement while maintaining your usual program and follow-up.
When there is no clear diagnosis or the condition involves chronic pain, we recommend a medical assessment first to determine the most appropriate approach.

Physicians, rehabilitation specialists, sports medicine physicians, traumatologists, pain medicine specialists, and physical therapists may refer patients exclusively for HILT applications.

Frequently asked questions
Clear information to understand the technology and decide on the next step.
No. Systems can vary in power, wavelength, emission modes, and configuration. Revalgia uses HILT technology with 20 W maximum power, a 1064 nm wavelength, and Class 4 classification.
Not necessarily. Power makes it possible to deliver energy differently from lower-power systems, but it does not determine the outcome by itself or make therapy suitable for everyone. The dose and parameters must be selected for each treatment.
It is an external application with no needles or incisions. Localized warmth may be felt during the session; power and application method are adjusted to the protocol and each person's tolerance.
No. If you already have an assessment and indication, you may come exclusively for HILT applications. Your clinical follow-up can remain with the professional already managing your case.
Duration varies depending on the body region, treatment surface, and selected parameters. Before starting, we will explain the planned protocol for your case.
No. It is a complementary tool that may be incorporated into an overall strategy. It does not replace diagnosis, medication, rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, or other instructions.
